The Website Currently

From the initial look at the homepage, the website looks very barebones and lacks any real brand recognition. some images are missing and the website sells electronics like Playstations, besides it being a sneaker-selling website.

Another thing I noticed while going through the website is the dropdowns, the 2 main things that can be changed with them are how many items are being displayed on one section and how many options are on a sub drop-down

Current Sitemap

While making the sitemap, I realized that there was too much information given just by the shop dropdown menu.

Things to change:

  1. Reduce the content being advertised

  2. Make sure the dropdowns aren’t too information-heavy

New Sitemap

The new sitemap greatly reduces the number of sub-dropdowns in the newly named sneaker category, by either getting rid of “Air Jordan" #’s” or combining the Cactus jack and designer category and naming it “special releases”. I also added a contact us section in the footer.

New Homepage

The new homepage has been updated a bit, for branding, I went with a minimalistic font that’s reminiscent of a sneaker brand; with a dark mode and shoe laces leading to each section of the website. If you take a look at the dropdown, it was greatly reduced.

New Product Page

For the product page, I wanted to include not only a sneaker and what sizes you can buy it in; I included product description, colorway, material, reviews, you might also like section and an about us section.

Mobile Website

I also wanted to make a mobile version of the site for those who want to buy sneakers on the go. the mobile version has a vertical scrolling feature to get all the information needed on a section or product(s).
